Mixed Use, Creative Studio workspace – Alma Yard, Plymouth

Nestled in the heart of the East End of Plymouth, Alma Yard is home to a community of creatives, retailers, vendors and practitioners drawn to Plymouth’s burgeoning arts scene and holistic view of life.

A site steeped in local history, most famously used as a rope factory to a thriving maritime town in the 1800s, Alma Yard has been carefully developed to offer an inspiring environment where professionals can enterprise and create.

Following an initial refusal from the Local Planning Authority we provided advice and Technical reports leading to a successful planning permission. This involved negotiations with the Local Highway Authority to discuss their concerns.

Further support, post consent, has been provided to assist with the discharge of planning conditions including a Highway Dilapidation Survey, Pedestrian Accessibility Audit, Construction Traffic Management Plan and Travel Planning.
